Luperox DP40 tert-butyl peroxy-3,5,5-trimethylhexanoate is used in combination with a cobalt promoter for the thermal curing of unsaturated polyester resins. Used alone, it is suitable for curing in the 60-100°C range, and can also be combined with ketone peroxides to achieve a higher degree of cure.
