Luperox 11M40 polymer initiator is a lower active concentration formulation of tert-butyl peroxyneodecanoate. The higher proportion of diluent gives it a higher self-accelerating decomposition temperature than Luperox 11M75 polymer initiator. Both initiators are suitable for LDPE polymerization in the temperature range of 160°C to 200°C, especially in tubular processes where temperature excursions may occur.
