AKPEROX MIKP-S is a methyl isobutyl ketone peroxide formulation used for curing unsaturated polyester resins in the temperature range of 60-150°C, either by itself or in the presence of a cobalt accelerator. AKPEROX MIKP-S can be used in combination with a cobalt accelerator for applications requiring a long gel time or production time at ambient temperature and a fast cure at higher temperatures (e.g., 60-100°C). Application areas can be: filament winding and the production of flat and corrugated sheets.
