AKPEROX MIKP is used for curing unsaturated polyester (UP) resins in the temperature range of 60-150 °C in the presence of a cobalt accelerator (e.g., AKCOBALT 6%). Combination with a cobalt accelerator provides a longer gel time at room temperature. To shorten the cure time, it should be used at 60 – 100 °C. Besides this, AKPEROX MIKP provides high reactivity at high temperatures even without a cobalt accelerator. It is especially suitable for making roof coatings.
