AKPEROX AAP is used for curing unsaturated polyester (UP) resins at room and elevated temperatures in the presence of a cobalt accelerator. Compared to the MEKP + cobalt combination, the AAP + cobalt combination provides a faster cure and a higher peak temperature level. Therefore, lamination applications on very thin layers should be avoided in this regard. It is especially suitable for the mannequin industry.
