Luperox Z13G is a phthalate-free mixture of two ketone peroxides (MEKP and AAP), used in combination with a cobalt promoter for curing unsaturated polyester resins at room temperature. Luperox Z13G, in combination with a cobalt promoter, provides a faster cure speed and a higher exothermic peak temperature than methyl ethyl ketone peroxide (MEKP) at both room and elevated temperatures (40-80°C).
