LUPEROX A40 is a low-viscosity suspension in water. It is used in textile bleaching applications. It is also used for curing unsaturated polyester resins and acrylic resins at room and elevated temperatures. The low viscosity makes it easy to pump and mix quickly with the resin. At high temperatures (above 80°C), dibenzoyl peroxide suspensions are suitable for pultrusion and hot press molding applications. At room temperature, a tertiary amine (such as dimethylaniline, diethylaniline, or dimethyl-p-toluidine) is required as an activator. This peroxide/amine system provides fast gel and cure times.
