Luperox 101 organic peroxide has two main application areas: viscosity modification of polypropylene and cross-linking of rubber or elastomers. Viscosity modification is a method of increasing the melt flow rate of polypropylene through chain scission. The extremely high half-life of Luperox 101 is particularly useful in curing engineering rubber compounds without causing odor or any peroxide bloom.
