AKPEROX ER34 is used for curing unsaturated polyester (UP) resins at room and elevated temperatures in the presence of a cobalt accelerator (e.g., AKCOBALT 1% - 6%). Compared to AKPEROX A50, the AKPEROX ER34 + cobalt accelerator combination provides a faster cure speed. The gel time of AKPEROX ER34 is generally similar to AKPEROX A50. It is particularly suitable for pipe production and continuous manufacturing applications such as continuous lamination, RTM, centrifugal casting, and filament winding.
